ASNJ Bulletin

The Bulletin is the official publication of the Archaeological Society of New Jersey.  We welcome articles on topics relating to New Jersey archaeology, both prehistoric and historic, as well as bioarchaeology and ethnohistory.  In order to be considered for publication, articles can be any size, but must have appropriate references.  Depending on content, articles accepted for publication may be peer reviewed.  The preferred method of submission is a simply formatted Word document with separate illustration files (I.e. not embedded in the text document), via e-mail, but hard copies of shorter submissions can also be sent through regular mail to the editor’s address.  Illustrations (photographs and/or drawings) must be of good quality with clear subject matter.  Illustrations should be referenced in the text and provided with captions.  If the article is accepted for publication illustrations must be provided as high quality digital files or photographic prints.   Please employ the bibliographic format used in the Bulletin which is based upon the Society for Historical Archaeology’s bibliographic format. All manuscripts submitted are subject to correction or excision by the editor where such actions do not alter substance or intent.

Manuscripts should be sent to:
